Joann was an absolutely amazing host! From the moment we booked, she was incredibly responsive and provided us with a wonderful list of things to do and great places to eat, which made planning our trip so easy. We truly can’t say enough good things about the house. Joann thought of everything! Every room was beautifully stocked with all the comforts and essentials you could possibly need. We especially loved relaxing on the decks and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Although we didn’t end up cooking, the kitchen was fully equipped with anything you would need to prepare meals at home. We visited to celebrate a 59th birthday and attend the Mayberry Fest, and the location could not have been more perfect. We were so close to everything we wanted to see and do, making the entire trip convenient and stress-free. This home exceeded our expectations in every way, and we would absolutely stay here again. This is one of the best rental homes we’ve stayed at. It is exactly as described and more. JoAnn is a top-notch host, very helpful, and she makes you feel so welcome! She checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, so thoughtful and kind. I made a couple of special requests, and JoAnn quickly accommodated. JoAnn has thought of everything. The house is newly remodeled and beautifully decorated; everything is new, nice, and well thought out. From the comfortable beds, toiletries in each bathroom, luggage racks in each bedroom, to the coffee/tea bars, and so much more! The home has a great layout; The two master suites are a huge bonus, and we loved the open floor plan on the main level. It was easy for our friend, who needs mobility assistance, to move around the house. JoAnn had a recliner moved upstairs for our friend to sit more comfortably, which was so appreciated! There was plenty of space for our party of 4, and it would be a great space for 6 people. There is so much space to spread out and many seating options inside and outdoors. We enjoyed hanging out and relaxing on the front porch and the lower-level deck. We prepare and cook a lot of our meals while traveling, and this kitchen has everything we needed. It‘s equipped with quality cookware, cutlery & utensils, baking essentials, and more. We highly recommend staying here! We will be back! This was a delightful place to stay while visiting the town of Mt. Airy. Beautifully decorated, had everything you could ever need in the kitchen for making meals, an exceptional coffee bar both upstairs and down, great outdoor spaces and the JoAnn, the host, went above and beyond to check in and make sure we had everything we needed.
